Kade Marsili (b.1995) is a Seattle-based figurative painter creating work on topics of identity and intimacy from a queer perspective. He received his BFA in painting at Kent State University in 2018, and has since exhibited work in San Francisco, Chicago, Seattle, and New York City. His work often shows glimpses of intimate moments and gestures, glowing with vivid color to reflect the energy of the subjects. Under the color and softness of the work are themes of struggle and tension that reflect a very human yearning.
